Teaching Experience
2023
Student Teaching
Before becoming a certified teacher, I completed by student teaching. I was in the first grade at Paintbrush Elementary with a mentor teacher that has 15+ years of experience working with K-1st grade, as well as SPED. This experience allowed me to develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of different learning styles and strategies. During my student teaching, I was able to work one-on-one with students and provide personalized support and guidance to help them reach their academic goals.
2021-2023
Observation and Practicum
As a teaching intern, I had the opportunity to observe and assist experienced teachers in K - 7th classrooms. These experiences gave me valuable insight into the day-to-day workings of a classroom, and helped me develop my own teaching style and philosophy.

During my master's program, I had the opportunity to learn about the importance and new resources available in education. I focused my studies on elementary education, and gained many hours in the classroom for diverse and effective teaching strategies for all student populations.

My undergraduate degree in healthcare informatics provided me a strong foundation for my career in education. Through my coursework, I developed a deep understanding of social interaction, technology, and problem-solving strategies, which I have been able to apply in my teaching career.
